Hello, reader!! My name is Ryoko Kitadai.
Thank you for being so interested in my stories! I’m a graduate student studying mathematics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a former math competitor.
Embracing Emi is my debut fiction series, and I wanted to take my lived experiences and put them to paper in a heartfelt, authentic way that would be relatable, thought-provoking, and emotionally resonant for everyone, regardless of their background. You can think of it as a memoir, but with a fictional side to it. I think everyone's story is worth telling, and I'll hope you'll join me in celebrating everyone whose story is each special and worth telling, in their own way!
